As far back as I can remember I have always had a passion for the act of creation. Around the age of 13 or 14 I bought my first skateboard, which introduced me into an entirely new lifestyle. Skating gave me a behind-the-scenes look on life and forced me into seeing the world for what it wasn’t. Ever since, this has made a direct impact on the art that I make. Through the use of recurring characters I allow my art to take on the form of a story, journaling my life and the events in the world around me, but never too complicated so that it can not be interpreted subjectively, as I prefer the viewer to draw their own conclusions. Themes often seen in my work are human behavior and relationships, fear, uncertainty, and sarcasm. Completely self-taught, I continue to learn many things about myself and my work everyday. I am currently living and working in Pittsburgh, PA, where you can find me cruising through the streets at night on my board or perhaps in my studio painting on one.
